Cocktails and bites

In addition to the extensive menu, De Smulpot also offers a selection of tasteful cocktails, such as the TX Gin & Tonic, Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martini. Perfect for starting or ending your evening. Pair them with one of the bites, such as the Smul’s Chickies or the Smulplank, for a complete experience.

Stay the night in style

Above the restaurant, you will find seven comfortable suites, each with its own character. Think spacious beds, rain showers, air conditioning, a good cup of coffee and a Texel welcome drink. The rooms are bright, quiet and finished to perfection. And in the morning? You can simply head downstairs for a fresh breakfast in the restaurant.

Texel is full of unique outings, but this one literally and figuratively stands out. Exploring the Waddenzee on an authentic fishing boat. When shrimp fishing on Texel, you step aboard the TX20 Walrus for an experience full of nature, marine life and stories.

Texel and sheep are inextricably linked. But behind those grazing flocks in the landscape lies a remarkable story. The wool from these sheep isn't just a byproduct; it's the beginning of wonderfully comfortable duvets, mattress toppers, pillows, and futons. Texeler knows this better than anyone and has been craftingsustainable sleep products from it for years – something the entire island is proud of.
